On April 28, 2022, in the IOFS headquarters in Nur-Sultan H.E.Mr. Yerlan A. Baidaulet, Director General of the IOFS, met with the Eurasian Economic Commission delegation represented by Mrs. Aina Kusainova, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Policy Department, and Mrs. Karlygash Tokraeva, Adviser of the Section of Agroindustrial Policy.
Mr. Yerlan A. Baidaulet gave an overview of the IOFS's current activities, particularly, implementing its special mandate for Afghanistan and launching events for the IOFS Year of Africa 2022.
The parties reviewed future cooperation prospects in the implementation of the two organizations' correlative tasks, including private sector involvement, as well as on the International IFPA platform.
The meeting culminated in the signing of the Action Plan and the Composition of the working group for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed in July 2021 in Moscow at the EEC headquarters.
