On September 27, the professionals of IOFS headed by Dr. Ismail Abdelhamid - Director of Programs and Projects office and Program manager Ruslan Bekturganov participated in Kazakhstan - Saudi Arabia Investment Forum in Nur-Sultan city, Kazakhstan.
The forum began with opening remarks by H.E. Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and H.E. Khalid A. Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Thereafter, the representatives of specialized organizations of both countries continued the official part of the event.
Furthermore, on the sidelines of the above-mentioned event, the representatives of IOFS held a bilateral meeting with esteemed SALIC represented by H.E. Eng. Faisal J. AlMangour, CEO Adviser and Mr. Mohammed W. Batterjee, VP of Portfolio Management. Parties discussed IOFS strategic programs that enhance the development of national food sectors and strengthening cooperation with state investment agencies, livestock development, as well as, B2B engagements through IFPA (100% subsidiary of IOFS) in alleviating food insecurity and the relevant challenges with the food system within the OIC region.
