The Islamic Organizations for Food Security (IOFS), in a collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is pleased to host a joint workshop on "Sukuk for Investments in Agriculture."
The Minister of Agriculture will be opening the forum, along with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister and Vice Minister, H.E. Yerbol Karashukeev and H.E. Kanat Tumysh. The event will bring together esteemed speakers, Ambassadors from OIC Member States, local government agencies, national institutions, representatives from the corporate sector, and special guests of honor to discuss the potential of Sukuk in sustainable agriculture financing.
Kazakhstan, as the Central Asia Hub for Islamic finance, recognizes the importance of establishing an export-oriented food supply chain. The workshop aims to explore the use of Sukuk to drive economic growth and align with the IOFS 10-year Strategy and Kazakhstan Strategic Vision on Food Security.
