The President of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, H.E. Mr. Tlektes Yespolov at the closing ceremony of the 2nd International Forum on Agri-Biotechnology:
"-The 2nd International Forum on Agri-Biotechnology in Astana attracted several renowned scientists and experts, including 126 academics and 23 corresponding members. With a focus on agri-biotechnology, the forum served as a platform for fruitful discussions and knowledge sharing among representatives from 17 countries. The forum aimed to facilitate the exchange of country-specific knowledge, experiences, and innovative approaches.
Building on the momentum of the Forum, one of the main objectives was to promote cooperation and the integration of shared knowledge and know-how into the agricultural landscape of Kazakhstan. This integration was seen as crucial to improving the country's agricultural capabilities and paving the way for sustainable growth in the sector. To this end, discussions were held on the establishment of an agro-academy, as already discussed in Almaty.
Overall, the 2nd International Forum on Agri-Biotechnology served as a prestigious platform for academic exchange and knowledge dissemination.
