1) Meeting in ICCIA head office with a management team was very productive.
Following the MoU signed earlier between both OIC sister institutions it was decided that the Action Plan would be prepared and could include issues of joint cooperation in field of training and education, food sector projects structuring, events on food industry and support of joint activities, with focus on countries in Central Asia and Africa
2) the meeting with the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Pakistan Shamas-ur-Rehman, CEO of Alvi Group was focused on development of bilateral trade relations between two member countries and opening new logistic ways for joint trading. It was agreed that IFPA platform would be utilized more actively.
3) then Director General IOFS met the President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mr. Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo.
Both parties presented basic introduction of IOFS and FPCCI, and agreed to cooperate within respective programs and the IFPA platform.
4) At the end of day the meeting with Mr. Arif Ahmed Khan, Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) took place. Parties discussed a wide range of intra-OIC trade-related issues, incl. free trade agreements within OIC region, model of ECO cooperation, trade to Afghanistan, capacity development actvities.
